Abstract
Structural computing is one of the most recent research threads to emerge in the field of hypermedia. Though a relatively new line of study, research results have already started to emerge in the structural computing field. This paper examines a number of structural computing research projects to provide an overview of the current state of the field as well as a look at the direction of ongoing projects. It also briefly discusses additional areas of research in structural computing that will be important to consider as research in the field continues.
