AbstractIn this paper the author considers some problems related to attribute dependencies in consensus determining. These problems concern the dependencies of attributes representing the content of conflicts, which cause that one may not treat the attributes independently in consensus determining. It is assumed that attribute values are represented by intervals. In the paper the author considers the choice of proper distance function. Next, the limitations guarantying determining a correct consensus despite treating the attributes independently are presented. Additionally, the algorithm of calculating the proper consensus in cases when these limitation are not met is introduced.
